Models, dialogue and memory
The character defines a fictional person and situation. The language model generates a response from that setup and the context available to it.
Available models
The model list includes CrushOn Leo, Mochi, Mochi V2 and Sagittarius, alongside other model families. Names and availability change as versions are added or retired; use the chat selector to see the choices attached to your account.
A family name does not tell you the whole setup. Note the model version, context option and credit requirement before comparing replies. Keep the character definition unchanged.
Choosing a model
- Dialogue: Does the character have a distinct way of speaking?
- Control: Does it leave your actions and decisions to you?
- Pacing: Does it match the requested length and scene speed?
- Continuity: Does it handle a correction?
- Access: Is the model included or separately limited?
Continue beyond the greeting. A disagreement and a change of subject give you different things to compare.
Context and saved information
Visible history is not identical to the context considered for each reply. A long transcript can contain details that are no longer being used in the same way.
Review pins and saved exchanges when the story changes. Keep names, relationships and unresolved events concise. Shared background can go in a World Card rather than every character's definition.
Review pins and saved exchanges separately from the model's context allowance.
Free models and paid access
Start with a Free Models choice available in your account. Use one scene and ask for the same point of view and reply length on each model. For example: You are the harbor dispatcher. A ferry is about to leave, but the engineer asks for ten more minutes. Answer in two short paragraphs without deciding my actions.
Follow up with a practical question and one correction. Choose the reply style that suits your scene, then check credits and membership requirements before switching to a paid choice. This compares your actual use rather than treating one model as best for every character.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best free Crushon AI model?
Start with the Free Models choices in your account and use the same character, scene and reply length on each. Compare dialogue, control of your persona and handling of a correction before choosing.
Can I change a model without rewriting the character?
Model selection and character definition are separate. Keeping the character unchanged helps identify what the model switch affects.
